Script Submission for the Point Loma Classic 2020

Why Script Submission?
The Point Loma Classic is a NITOC qualifying tournament
and adheres to the Stoa Speech Guidelines for NITOC Competition.


All scripts must be submitted by the deadline. There will be NO on-site submission.

WHO: Competitors who are entered in the following events must submit scripts for approval :
  • Interpretive Speeches: Dramatic, Duo, Humorous, Open
  • Platform Speeches: Expository, Original Oratory, Persuasive
  • Wild Card Speech: Oratory Analysis

Script Submission Opens: November 30, 2019 at 8:00am
Script Submission Ends: December 31, 2019 at 11:59pm

All script submissions must be completed by the deadline above. You will receive a confirmation email once your script has been received and approved. Please save a copy of this confirmation email on your phone or print out to have with you at check in.

Note: Scripts approved at the 2019 Christmas Colloquium, and unchanged after such approval, will be accepted as “Approved” for the 2020 Point Loma Classic. To participate (and we hope you do), please forward the Christmas Colloquium Acceptance email AND your script to the 2020 Point Loma Classic Script Submission Team at: PointLomaClassicScripts@gmail.com.

Late Fees

If a script is submitted after December 31, the Script Submission Team will decide whether to review it. If reviewed and accepted, a $20 late fee will apply, payable by CASH at Student Check-In.

How to Submit Scripts Electronically: Steps 1-5

1. READ THE RULES for your speech event HERE

2. READ THE SCRIPT PREP INSTRUCTIONS & OBTAIN FORMS HERE

3. PREPARE your SCRIPT SUBMISSION FORM with your parent or coach. Include initials and signatures. BE SURE "Point Loma Classic" is listed as tournament.

4. COMBINE each speech into a single file in PDF or JPEG only. Scan into a single file or use a file joiner such as:
~ PDFsam Which downloads free to your computer
~ PDFmerge Which allows you to merge via the website
~ To make PDF's of printed docs with your phone, search your app store for "PDF Scanner App"

ONLY 1 FILE PER SPEECH: PDF or JPEG only. Combine files before proceeding.
NAME FILE: LastName, FirstName - event.pdf (from computer before proceeding)

5. SUBMIT SCRIPTS HERE.
