~ Mars Hill
~ Open Interp

~ Persuasive

IE Pattern B:
~ Apologetics
~ Duo Interp - A Duo team is not entered until BOTH students are registered.

~ Original Oratory

Debate Pattern:

Competitors may register in up to two debate styles. In addition to LD or TP, students may also enter in Parli.

~ Lincoln Douglas (LD) - will be "double-flighted"
~ Team Policy (TP) - A TP team is not entered until BOTH students are registered.
~ Parliamentary (Parli) - A Parli team is not entered until BOTH students are registered.

"Lincoln Douglas Debate Double-flighting" - means that during a round as listed on the schedule, there will be two LD debates back-to-back. You will debate once during that round.

For example, Round 1 goes from 8:00-9:30. That means that LD debaters in Round 1 Flight A will debate from 8:00-8:45, and LD debaters in Round 1 Flight B will debate from 8:45-9:30.

When the rooms are posted, you need to check to see if you are Flight A or Flight B. We ask that all LD students go to their assigned rooms at the start of flight one of that round. The second flight students will then be available to time those debating during the first flight. The first flight debaters can leave after their round only if the second flight students do not want them to stay and time.

Dropping an Event:

If a student does not feel like he/she can effectively compete in all of the events registered for, please email the Registrar at pointlomaclassic@gmail.com to request any changes to your registration.

If within the deadline, a refund will be issued for those events he/she chooses to drop. The refund needs to be requested - it does not happen automatically. See the deadline for event refunds on the Registration, Fees, & Deadlines tab.
